Ushers are a huge part of making Bridge City Riot run smoothly! Before the games, you’ll be on the move, helping fans find seats and get settled. Once the action starts, you’ll be posted in Turn 1 or Turn 4, checking wristbands or stamps for re-entry, helping keep walkways clear during jams, and making sure drinks stay inside the building. We’ll set you up with clear sightlines so you don’t miss the on-track excitement while helping keep the tournament safe and fun for everyone.

We’ll provide on-site training, clear rosters, and support from experienced announcers and stream volunteers to set you up for success. You’ll be close to the action, working alongside officials and other volunteers to keep everything running smoothly.

This role is great for folks who like to stay active, pay attention to details, and enjoy being an essential part of game day operations. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes.

In this role, you’ll serve as the primary medical responder during bouts, responding promptly and calmly to injuries or medical incidents.

Responsibilities may include providing medical assistance to skaters, event staff, and spectators; acting as the initial responder to injuries; remaining vigilant for potential concussions or other injuries; and administering CPR, BLS, or other life-saving care as needed.

This role is open to qualified medical professionals, including Certified First Responders (CFRs), EMTs, Paramedics, Athletic Trainers, Nurses (LPNs and RNs), Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians with relevant experience.

All certifications must be current, and volunteers should work strictly within their scope of training and licensure.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and brings a friendly, solution-focused attitude. Cash-handling and customer service experience are helpful but not required.
