Skills worked on Yellow Level: plow (stop immediately with contact), transitions (both sides), backward crossovers, tracking (with a partner), light-medium contact skills (bumps, driving contact), tripod skills (brace, butts, light pushing). This is not a comprehensive list of skills worked on at practice.

Skills worked on Green Level: 1-on-1 blocking, tripods, full contact (hits, countering, driving contact), teamwork skills (tripod formations, communication, blocking in groups), and gameplay knowledge (pack awareness, jammer privileges, rule, and penalties). Coach at the highest level of youth competitive derby, drawing from the world-class talent and experience within RCR to develop youth skaters in sport and life.

Rosebuds Travel Teams are continually growing both as a team and as individuals while living the core values of RCR. Training is challenging and meets the expectations of the Junior Program Coordinator, Athletic Program Manager, and the parameters of the Three-Part Team Training.
