HTTD: Track Team

Description

Be the Unsung Hero – Join the Track Team at Hometown Throwdown 2026!

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and ensure our skaters shine on a perfect track? Join the Track Team and play a vital role in keeping the action smooth and seamless on game day. This is your chance to be the hero who ensures our bouts are as flawless as a freshly laid tape line.

Must be 18+ and wear closed toe shoes!

What You’ll Do:

Before the Game:

  • Sweep the track to ensure it’s clean and safe.

  • Inspect the tape and repair any imperfections to keep it game-ready.

During the Game:

  • Stay alert and ready to spring into action! When officials signal for tape repairs, you’ll swoop in to fix things up like a track ninja.

Halftime:

  • Shine again by sweeping and rechecking the tape to ensure everything is in top-notch condition for the second half.

After the Game:

  • Give the track a final sweep and tape check.

  • After the last game of the day, give the track a light mop to get it ready for the next day.

Why Join the Track Team?

  • Get an up-close view of the action and be an essential part of game day operations.

  • Take pride in knowing you’ve helped create a safe and professional environment for skaters and officials.

  • Join a fun, supportive team where your efforts are genuinely appreciated.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

  • Willingness to get a little physical (sweeping, crouching to repair tape, and mopping will be part of your repertoire!).

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with officials and team members.

Ready to make your mark, literally and figuratively, on game day? Sign up now to be a Track Team member and help us keep Hometown Throwdown 2026 rolling smoothly!
