olunteer Safety Staff are responsible for providing medical support throughout Bridge City Riot and play a vital role in keeping skaters, officials, volunteers, and fans safe. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary medical responders during bouts, responding promptly and calmly to injuries or medical incidents.
Responsibilities may include providing medical assistance to skaters, event staff, and spectators; acting as the initial responder to injuries; remaining vigilant for potential concussions or other injuries; and administering CPR, BLS, or other life-saving care as needed.
This role is open to qualified medical professionals, including Certified First Responders (CFRs), EMTs, Paramedics, Athletic Trainers, Nurses (LPNs and RNs), Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians with relevant experience.
All certifications must be current, and volunteers should work strictly within their scope of training and licensure.
