The Rose City Rollers value the growth and development of our officials and recognize the important role they play in strengthening the local and global roller derby community.
Volunteer hours may be logged for officiating activities that directly support RCR's mission through outreach, mentorship, recruitment, or representation of RCR. Examples include teaching clinics, mentoring developing officials, encouraging officials to participate with RCR, or recruiting officials to attend RCR-hosted tournaments and events.
Officials should also log the time they spend preparing for and completing their duties as an HSO or HNSO, including pre-game planning, paperwork, crew coordination, reporting, and other officiating-related administrative work.
In addition, all work performed in support of the Officials Committee should be logged. This includes committee meetings, training development, recruitment efforts, policy and procedure work, tournament planning, mentorship programs, scheduling, and other projects that contribute to the growth, organization, and success of RCR's officiating program.
